3.理解和把握句子的语法结构——提高英语知识运用能力
语法部分的测试是英语知识运用的主要内容之一。语法包括两大部分，词法和句法。词法研究词形的变化，如名词的数、格，动词的时态、语态等属于词法范畴。研究句子结构的部分称句法，如句子的成分、语序以及句子的种类等，都属于句法范畴。在做英语知识运用测试题目时，应首先以句子为单位，运用所学的语法知识做出分析和判断。
