 FROM his same-titled debut to his fourth album Ye Hui Mei, Jay Chou never fell short of his creativity to amaze fans and to spark off room for imagination with his music. And finally the highly anticipated fifth release of the singer Qi Li Xiang is set to launch on August 3 2004.
The album features new hits including "The injury of cease-fire", "My construction site" and "Qi Li Xiang". Juxtaposing rock ballad with oriental flavor, leading track Qi Li Xiang carries poem-like lyrics written by Jay's best production partner Fang Wen-shan. While Jay is at work on movie Initial D in Japan, he takes a one-day time out to shoot the song's music video at Takasaki City in Gunma, Japan.
周杰伦（Jay）一年一度新碟《七里香》即将于8月推出，从第一张JAY同名专辑、到第四张《叶惠美》专辑，周杰伦每一次的专辑名称都给了歌迷许多想像空间，也给了大家许多惊叹号，这一次第五张专辑周杰伦首次以主打歌名《七里香》做为专辑名称。 新歌《七里香》是带著东方气息的抒情摇滚曲风，周杰伦的最佳搭档方文山在《七里香》歌曲里首度以作诗的方式填词，创作出一首诗意浓厚的现代诗情歌。而此曲之MV特别远赴日本的群马县高崎市拍摄。
