China to Expand Cooperation in TCM
China's Vice-Minister of Health She Jing says China will expand exchanges
and cooperation with other countries in the field of Traditional Chinese
Medicine, or TCM. She Jing states that more and more cooperation is being
carried out, reflecting the rising influence of TCM around the world. Also,
a project applying TCM in the treatment of AIDS is going smoothly and is
having an effective impact in five AIDS-stricken Chinese provinces. Since
August, the Chinese government has provided free TCM treatment to 2,300
AIDS patients in the provinces of Henan, Hebei, Anhui, Hubei and Guangdong.
