Argument:
109. The following appeared as part of a letter to the editor of a local newspaper. "During her three years in office, Governor Riedeburg has shown herself to be a worthy leader. Since she took office, crime has decreased, the number of jobs created per year has doubled, and the number of people choosing to live in our state has increased. These trends are likely to continue if she
is reelected. In addition, Ms.Riedeburg has promised to take steps to keep big companies here, thereby providing jobs for any new residents. Anyone who looks at Ms.Riedeburg record can tell that she is the best-qualified candidate for governor.
我是在人民大学那里的考点进行考试的，下面说说我对考试的一些个人理解：
首先，我准备作文的时间并不是很长，大约10天左右，当中还浪费了一些时间，因为我的目标并不是6分，所以我设定了自己的计划，我相信很多同学都很关心别人的复习时间，这只不过是在寻找一丝心理平衡，其实大家不用慌，我觉得时间不是问题，重要的是独立思考能力。
我的步奏一：
无论如何，首先要做的就是将所有的题目看懂，将看不懂的生词查出来，保证上了考场不会在阅题的时候就死翘。
我的步奏二：
看提纲，记词汇。这个工作相对多一点：
关于Issue, 由于没有绝对权威的提纲，所以我觉得还是应该自己多想一想，将手里的提纲总结一下，尤其是其中的词汇和固定用法，甚至某些观点都是应该快速掌握的。这样就部分解决了很多实际写作中用词匮乏的问题。
关于Argument, 我个人认为Argument的重点就是模板，由于考试时间和字数的原因，一 定要用模板。不过这里想提醒大家，模板一定要精心准备，我在考前2天的时候还动过一次大工程来修改呢！
我的步奏三：
关于举例问题：
对于Argument举例问题，这很简单，大部分就是按题目举出相反情况，不过一些类似的情况也是可以提前准备的。我就准备了几个例子，比如：遇到了食品类的问题，我就用某种食品可以治疗SARS, SARS也可以应用于犯罪率降低的原因等。如果遇到就业率上升就用旅游业的空前发展等。如果遇到外来定居人口增长就用好莱坞明星或其他知名人士来这里定居的原因来解释（后面有例子）。
对于Issue的举例就要看大家都生活的领悟了，我建议大家从自己最熟悉的领域入手。 我准备了几个例子：

遇到了目的与手段的观点，我们当然不能不提Niccolo Machiavelli, 然后还有姚明等等，这些例子可以应用于很多方面，就看大家的需要了。
步奏四：
练习打字速度及全文写作，为了考试作准备。联系打字的时候主要以模板为主要内容， 因为写了多少篇作文都不重要（很小几率会碰上练过的题），重要的是掌握能够以不变应万变的东西。
我的经验大概就是这些了，希望能够对大家有些帮助，不过事先声明我不是英语牛人，我的经验也许只适合本人，请按需索取，勿受误导。

以下是我整理的部分素材，大部分已经被我改写过了，希望能对大家有所帮助：

7.All statistical evidence points to the fact that more men and women are waiting longer to get married, which is believe to be one of the key reason for the rapid drop in the world’s birth rate in the past ten years.（社会类）
8.Praise is more effective than criticism. It is especially true of the teacher-student relationship. As a university teacher, personal experience has taught me that praise sometimes can even work wonder.（批评与赞扬）
9.Arguments are not always harmful. A good argument is creative because it involves both parties fully expressing their opinions to reach a new area of understanding. Productive arguing keeps a couple powerfully in touch with each other’s thoughts and feelings. According to a recent survey, wedlock where couples argue once in a while usually lasts for a longer period.（意见相同还是不同好？）
10.There are two primary causes for the increase in the number of people who take a second job. Firstly, economic reforms create many job opportunities. Secondly, under the financial pressure, the cost of people’ s living has grown much faster than wages.（社会类）
